We love a great ab workout and who doesn’t want a flat stomach or a six pack?

In fact, flat abs are a billion dollar industry with hundreds of exercise devices that promise you to get the abs of your dreams. But the truth is, there is no magic pill or secret device that gives you a six pack. You have to put in the hard work in order to be successful in achieving the waistline you are looking for.

Besides creating the aesthetics of a six pack, keep in mind that your midsection is the central link that connects your upper and lower body. Whether you are mopping the floor or hitting a baseball, the necessary motions either originate in your core or move through it. No matter what kind of movement we are talking about, it ripples through your core and if your abs are weak, it can negatively impact how well you move your arms and legs. A strong midsection builds power and enhances stability and balance. The truth is, a strong core is the foundation of everything you do.
